AUREXA

Origin

Inés was mapping an old mountain mine when a tunnel collapsed on her team. She held up the falling rock with her bare hands, and the more it pressed on her, the more it turned to gold around her arms. Pressure now becomes gold armour on her body.

Powers

• Pressure Plate: every push, weight or impact on her turns into gold armour; the harder the pressure, the stronger she gets
• Assay Eye: instantly tells real from fake: real gold, real promises, real friends
• Gold Leaf: spreads a thin film of gold that seals cracks, leaks and broken bridges

Weakness

Greed: if she keeps the gold for herself, her armour turns as heavy as lead.

Sidekick

Nugget, a golden chinchilla who can roll into a shiny ball.

Villain

Baron Brass, a showman who sells fake gold that turns green; he can't tell real from fake himself.

Costume

a gold and ivory fitted hero suit with overlapping gold armour plates on the shoulders and forearms, bullion-gold boots, a deep bronze belt.
